Which has more capacity.

Sportster Side Box or Safari Box.

Visually Safari box seems larger than that of Sportster Side box.

Dont know exactly about sportster capacity but sportster open from top to outwards and have have net in it.but safari opens from top.to me,its more effective as I have my teaching notice and books to carry

sportster is way way larger in capacity and size and looks big on even bikes like dlx/GS/Rp's more appropriate for bigger street sports bike like GS500e or some thing.... ...

yes ... sporster open like a breif case which makes is vulnerable to drop small things which can escape the trap net inside ...where as safari opens from upside which makes safari more usefull for people who want to carry small bits and peices inside it..

These days the rains are in full swing and I wear rain coat as and when the rain starts during my journey. It could become possible only due to sportster.

salam.. how r u @racer7 bro ... mashaALLAH.. bike loooking gr8 ... i wanna ask some information regarding pridor performance . specially in hilly areas... ap kafi time sa pridor use kr rhy hooo so dats y am asking... ap na kabi iss pa tour keya ha hilly arears ka.?. hilll climbing performace kaisi ha pridor ke with pillion and what about exceleration ,comfort level nd per liter milage...

Bro for hill climbing experience; you may contact to Waleed bhai at waleed80. He may guide you better regarding specific performance of Pridor in the hilly area. However, the Pridor on the straight road gives 58-60Km/liter.

Dear @racer7, @vickytulla, @zyrak.

Kindly tell

1) do we have to remove these Safari and Sportser side boxes to remove the rear wheel.
2) What are your views after using it for quite some time. Does these boxes mounts nut/bolts get loose after some time or does these boxes make any noise.

3) I am planning to install Studds Cruiser box on my cg. Can you guys make a comparison of Cruiser box to Safari and Sportster. I am going for Cruiser because it has the largest volumetric and payload capacity. The only thing that is bothering me is that its lock system seems not that durable. I don't know whether the lock chrome push handle is of plastic or metal

Please also share the current price of Cruiser and other boxes.

2) bolts lose = Yes, Vibration = Empty = no, Vibration if hard pieces in side and not completely filled will rattle like hell..

3) Cruiser will look like a cannon fitted on mini cooper faisal, 23Liter BIG A$$ box fitted on a small CG and a 7feet tall guy sitting on it... I mean ... I have scene safari fitted to CG and it was looking beautiful.

beside do keep in mind they are very i mean VVERY prone to CD70 riders... they will bump into your box and say "oh sorry sir humnay dekha he necchay tu DABA laga howa hai"

and later on reaching your home you will notice a crack on it and curse them..

Thanks for quick reply Vicky. Bhai, you are right Safari definitely looks beautiful and It was my first choice, but I also have to look for the utility i am getting. I think that Safari will not serve my purpose as I have to carry a lot of Soda/Salf and other things, that's why going for Cruiser box. At least I will be able to put a lot of stuff in to the box and that will make my happy instead of thinking how I will look to others as I can not change my height or my mcycle for quite some time:S.

Any chance / suggestions to get and install a reasonable big top box to avoid these b******s. I have a very limited budget and also a cracked side box will really disappoint me:(.

Besides, do you think there is any technical issue in installing/ handling / other technical issues in installing cruiser on cg beside its being very big and bulky. Do I will have to remove the indicator, foot rest etc. Any other alterations required and box limitations compared to other boxes.
