Prius 2010, Somthing wrong with fuel average indicator

Dear friends,

Please help me and guide me how to fix this problem in prius 2010 .
My prius meter don't show actual fuel average , when i drive meter shows randomly average .
For example, when i start drive it will start from 9 then 15 then 27 then 99.9/L average.

Please advice , should I go and do Scanning ?

PS; how dvd player works in prius ?

There is nothing wrong, the meter is showing instantaneous mileage, press the little button on the bottom left of the screen and the average mileage will be revealed
