AoA Pakwheelers! I offer meter language conversion for Prius 1.8 3rd gen (2009-2016), based in Rawalpindi (Bahria Town). Pictures attached below.
The language conversion was done by me as a personal challenge but now I have decided to offer this service to anybody based in the twin cities. Meter language conversion can be quite helpful since Prius displays its error messages on the meter, and even helps get a better understanding of the features of your car(specially for models 2012 and above which have much much more options than the 2009-2011 3rd gen(1.8) models).
The process requires the removal of the meter from the dashboard, which may be extensive but has no drawback at all. The language change is permanent (does not get automatically reverted to Japanese whatsoever) and does not affect the car mileage.
Language conversion for selected Aqua models that have a LCD display in the meter is also possible. Info on that in another post.
Along with language conversion, I offer many other services such as ECU programming(also catalytic error programming), ECU remapping(stage 1/2 tune, pops and bangs for non-hybrid cars), new key fob (smart key/remote) with programming, cruise control installation at an economical price. And I also provide complete vehicle health check, including hybrid battery health tests(Aqua & Prius). (Both the tests are complimentary with language change)
