Prius or Corolla? Confusion and doubts everywhere

Well I guess that it would be able to because people do say that these JDM's can bare anything you throw at it, because my friend has a Daihatsu Move, he says that a truck had hit it from behind, after seeing the car, I was left stunned, there was only a minor dent in the bumper. Since you own both the Corolla and the Prius, you will be able to feel the sense of durability, which one feels tougher?

Prius has road grip??? what are you calling grip? I have had a near frightening experience in a rented Prius involving me, a delaminated tyre, 130 km/h and elevated heartbeat because the car was going into a swing.

if you think a prius sticks to the road then you should drive an original condition supra - I believe you will find its magnetically linked to the tarmac then.

The prius drives about the same as a corolla in my experience (pakistani corolla too)

Sir supra is a legendary car, and having kept Corolla, Prius and Lancer I can easily say thay Prius and Lancer have higher road grip than Corolla

similarly if you then drive a BMW E38 (7 series) you will think that the car is permanently attached to the road from the factory. It has a breakaway threshold but honestly Ive never come close to it and I have punished that car on some roads I have driven on.

bhai --- your corolla was bad then.. probably needed struts n some steering work or it was really badly aligned (seen that in a lot of IMC corolla)

Alignment issues have been fixed which were since day 1. I am just saying that we have limited options otherwise I would've gone for a Golf Diesel.

I don't think that the Corolla would be as stable as the Prius is, because the height of the Corolla is much more than that of the Prius.

A friend has already tested his 1.8 Prius with a Grande CVTi, gave 4 cars gap to it, and I personally gave a 4 car gap to 9th Gen Civic prosmatec in my Prius.

Giving 4 cars gap to a sluggish prosmatec transmission civic is understandable. But giving 4 cars gap to a cvt equipped corolla which has no delays or whatsoever. That's hard to digest. Look at the figures above.

The transmission in Prius is advanced version of CVT, 1 speed planetary gear. Plus Prius has the advantage of Instant Electric Torque which gives it a really good headstart.

Well you are maybe right about electric torque or cvt advantage but actual figures posted by @fazalwahab11375 are simply contradicting your statement (9.7 sec for corolla and 10.1 sec for prius) and it is also mentioned that prius is also more heavier. How can you say that it just gave 4 cars gap to a cvt corolla?

I don't have any Grande in my social circle yet otherwise I would've tested it myself long ago.
