Problem with Chery QQ!

Salam all,
I need help, my Chery is giving me a serious problem, it starts getting jerky and looses RMP when it reaches high RPM, mostly in 3rd gear or above!!! And simultaneously the check engine light comes on!!! Now this problem doesnt happen everytime and sometimes gets so serious that the car stalls!!!
Any idea what the problem could be???
The mileage must be b/w 4500 and 5000k.m and I recently got it's second service earlier that scheduled i.e 5000k.m,
the fuel filter has been changed and I also used the fuel injector cleaner that has to be added with petrol!!!
It looked like the problem was solved until today when I had to pull over 4 times to turn it off and start again so that it could keep on going!!!
Help me guyz!!!

claim to cherry outlet . . may b a defect in ECU . . but wht i suggest is let others tell there comments

this is a confirm electrical fault or coil is gone bad check coil from your mechanic and let check the distributor too.

Dont waste your time on changing coil etc. Go to the cherry dealership.
If the engine light is on there will be definetly some code stored in the ECU. Cherry dealer should read the error code and sort out the issue in no time.

@ hashims: No its petrol chery!!!

@ xain: the check engine lights only comes on when the problem occours, it dissapears when the car is stable again and/or I turn the engine off and start the car again!!!

O bhai!

If its such a low mileage car, that means ur warranty is still intact, then why to waste money and time on trying to get the problem fixed urself, go straight to the Chery Dealer, expalin to them ur problem, its their problem not urs,
until or unless some road side mechanic has been fiddling with ur car!

hi guys

2 days before i bought cherry qq from lahore and traveled from lahore to islamabad. it was very bad experience of my life. but fault was mine. the main problem which i got is heat up. heatup light became flash every 2o kms. than i stay for few mins and than again its come to the middle. and i dnt know who are the mechanics of cherry qq in islamabad. plz guide me about my issue .

errors are stored in ECU and can be checked later. so for new car go to dealership. for heatup issue, check coolant then fan operation.
