Problem with Coolant Level

I have a Suzuki Dlx 2011 .. Never had any problems with the car .. for the last few weeks i have noticed that the coolant in the car has started to decrease in volume .. I got it checked .. Got the radiator serviced ..there was no leak .. They even checked the pipe leading to the engine and the ring on that as well ..changed the ring .. changed all the coolant ..after that .. i travelled to lahore for eid after that and the car has been in use a lot .. Airconditioner remains in constant use these days .. is it due to this reason that the coolant decreases ? ..Or should i get it checked again ? ..

Engine coolant should not be decrease. Are you using coolant or tap water ?

I always use coolant .. I was using suzuki original coolant for the last 5 yrs .. when there was decrease in the level of the coolant few weeks back .. i noticed a few drops on the floor .. But when i went to suzuki showroom the guy said that the coolant was leaking from the main pipe which leads to the engine and that the ring around it should be changed .. He removed the pipe .. and then used a new ring around it to seal it back .. I got new coolant in it .. however all this didn't solve the problem .. and next day the same problem came .. so i went to corolla .. they gave me the same diagnosis .. they removed the pipe again .. and removed all the rust around it with a sand paper .. and properly attached the pipe again and used a new ring to seal it .. and got the corrolla coolant worth 2500 in it .. however now after 1 week .. the coolant level has dropped gradually to low point .. what should i do .. should i upload the pics of the pipe and the ring ?

As mentioned in next comment. Check radiator cap also.

If you were using coolant then there should not have any rust on any of the pipes. I am afraid that suzuki coolant may not be of good quality and has caused corrosion in the system. Anyhow, remedy is to look for coolant leakage. Also do check the head gaskit for any leakages by performing the radiator bubbles check. In worst case, that might be the reason for coolant decrease.

It reduces from the bottle next to the radiator .. When the problem occured the radiator and radiator cap was fine .. got the radiator serviced as well .. they removed all the coolant ..and washed it as well as the bottle .. then put the coolant in the radiator .. and the rest into to the bottle .. the bottle given by corolla was 3.7 litres i think .. they said that as we have replaced all the coolant .. the engine will squeeze some more coolant from the bottle when the engine will start and warm up .. which it did .. and i put the rest of the coolant in the bottle .. now the car has been driven almost 500 km .. as i mentioned .. however this decrease never happened before .. i am in lahore right now .. should i get it checked from lahore suzuki after eid ?

They checked there were no bubbles at that time .. as i had a santro before this .. and i remember this gas headkit thing but its not that .. and they couldn't find any leakage from the radiator both suzuki and Toyota abbottabad ..

Suzuki coolant is good. My friend is using genuine coolant comes with swift. It crossed 50,000 kms and 4 years. No issue of decrease or leakage.

My odometer is at 139000 .. Never has this problem before .. and i have the car since 2011 Zero Meter ..

Was the air bled out properly? Its normal to decrease coolant level a few times when the system has been drained as air pockets are formed within system. Top it up 3 to 4 times. It should then maintain the level.

Ok .. will try it .. should i top it up with the same corolla coolant .. ? ..dont have any left right now .. will have to buy from the company ..

Had same problem and it turned out that there was a small crack in plastic tank of radiator from where steam was escaping when pressure build up.

Yes same coolant. Toyota coolant is a quality product. Its also available at good spare parts shops easily. No need to visit toyota dealership just to buy this.

I have a similar problem with my 2013 swift .. coolant level falls from full to low in a month or so
i havent done anything yet .. will get it checked soon .. i showed i to one mechanic earlier he said "sir suzuki hai, itna tu chalta hai"

I will suggest you to change your radiator cap with a good quality one ASAP. Same problem happened with my 1.3 vitz and the culprit was bad radiator cap. So instead of spending too much on other things just give it a try, it will hardly cost you 300 to 500.
