Problem with samsung smart tv malaysian

I have bought malaysian samsung smart tv few days before. Everything is running fine and smart tv section is an added advantage. In smart tv section where there are android apps, browser and media section there is no menu for picture setting. However there is a setting section but all about android version etc. The brightness of smart tv section is very high by default and there is no way to low it. Media section is also in smart section and the brightness is very high. While opening youtube,browser, media and other app sharp white light irritates eyes. While other sections like HDMI,VGA etc each one has separate picture setting manu. Please guide me what should I do. Is there any solution because this led is without any warranty and will not return.

Samsung smart tv is not andriod based. If it is giving you andriod version etc in menu, it is not an orignal samsung. Samsung smart tv has a support tab in main menu through which you can upgrade or download tv software from Samsung website. It should restore full menu options.

Samsung doesnt come in Android. You probably got a fake chinese.

Yup its definitely a local or a chinese one.. android systems are only in such led's.. the malaysian sticker is locally made for sure.. where did you get it from? size? and what price did you pay?

I know its not the original it is the malaysian one it cost me 30 k and its size is 42 inch. Is there any technical solution? I have also downloaded brightness app but app is not working properly and i am still trying many apps but not getting a luck. they work for sometime and then stop working etc...

Sorry but by not original one, they mean it is not Samsung i.e. fake Samsung. I cannot find any Samsung TV which is android based. I doubt if you will be able to find the solution here as I do not think many people will be using this TV.

Return it to the guy who sold it to you.
A few years ago I visited a place of someone who was selling these TVs. All TV were unbranded means nothing was written on them and the guy said he can print all the labels/stickers including box of any brand we wanted.

I dont know how you bought it but anyone can spot that its a fake just by holding its remote.

You can keep using it as Ive seen some of these installed at shops and they run all day.

I have one such led too..mine has been working flawlessly for 2 years plus. contact the guy you got it from..ask him for a full refund first.. im sure he wont agree so ask for a replacement. if he doesnt agree..they normaly do have an electrician who normally formats the software or upgrades it..that might work too.. 30k for a 42" is slightly above the nornal rate..its normally for 25-26k max. where did you get this tv from..location?

I have bought this led tv from lahore. 26- 27 k was for simple led tv. The rate of smart led tv is between 29-30 k. I have purchased this led tv because it was in my range and i am happy with this except for missing picture setting in android portion. Thankyou for your advice I will contact the supplier.

I think picture settings might not work.. or maybe try a different remote.. i dont think you'll face any issue otherwise.. where in lahore did you get it from? hall road?

Actually one of my relative do this kind of business in sargodha. He bought this led tv from his business friend in lahore and bring it to me in sargodha. I told him the problem but he said i dont know much, i will go to seller and will ask what is the solution. I am waiting for his solution if any otherwise i will request him for refund or replacement. I posted this question here because i thought might be someone has passed through the same situation and would have a solution.
