As Salam O Alaikum Dear Members.
Some fellow members have been wanting to change their Profile Picture / Display Picture (DP) on Pakwheels, but facing problems, or do not know, how to do it?
To help fellow members, I have created this thread, and it will be based on changing picture via smartphone, and may also work on tablets, ipads, etc. too. Procedure will be the same, with minor differences (depending on device), however, it should work!
Now without further ado, let's begin:
a. Open any Browser App on your smartphone and preferably, start clean (In my case, I used Chrome, and I prefer it). Un-check the option and click "Accept and Continue".
b. Click on "Next".
c. Click on "No, thanks" and continue. Main interface of Chrome will open. Type pakwheels.com/login and continue.
d. Enter your particulars and Sign In.
e. Go to the upper left corner (Highlighted in Red) and click on it.
f. A Menu will appear. Click on the very first details, highlighted in Red.
g. On your name / particulars, first option would be the "Profile". Click on it.
h. When Profile will open, the very first option would be "Choose File". This option is for selecting Profile Picture / Display picture. The App will ask for several permissions, give it (depending), especially for the one, where it asks to access media files...
i. After giving permissions, the options will appear (depending on make, model, brand of phone, etc.). In case of mine, 04 options were there. I Choose "Files".
j. In my case, it took me directly to the "Downloads". I had downloaded Nissan logo for Demo. Click on it, and press OK.
k. The file will start up-loading in the background, and when it will finally upload, you will see the message "Picture Uploaded Successfully" (highlighted in Red).
l. Scroll Down to the Bottom of the page and click "Save Changes". the page will refresh / reload for the changes to take affect.
m. Again head to the upper left corner of the page, and click on highlighted Red portion.
n. Click on your name / particulars. A drop down menu will appear.
o. Click on "Sign Out" for the changes to take place.
That's all... And With this, the tutorial ends.
In my case, the picture updated immediately across all Pakwheels services, however, it may be noted that for some members, the picture may take some time (like minutes or even hours) to update across all services.
And an important thing, please sign out from all devices before doing it. Sign in from a single device to change picture, otherwise, if you will be signed In from different devices and doing it, you might face problems while syncing later, across all devices.
