Professional Car Detailing Cost

Salam,
Guys I got two new cars Alhamdulillah recently I want to get them detailed both inside & out. Detailing work I want:
1. Interior detailing.
2. Engine bay detailing.
3. Exterior car detailing(to remove small scratches & restore shine)

I want to know an estimate of how much this work will cost. So that they don't overcharge me/inflate the costs. As I have no prior experience with getting my car detailed properly.

Do check carbographics. They gave me an estimate of 25k including glass coating for corolla

Yeah they gave me about the same price quote for this service.

However I'm interested in getting my car detailed inside & out. After that I'll take good of care of it Insha Allah.

Varies a lot, some people using Chinese glass coatings, some using real brands... real ones are too costly!
Simple detailing starts from about 8,000Rs at cheapest places and ranges up to 25,000Rs and even more... For glass coating some detailing outlets charging up to 2 lacs plus for branded stuff and for doing it properly

To be honest theres nothing as s 25,000Rs glass coating. This is the price of a quality coating alone. No one can do a proper coating in this price. At least 50,000Rs approx. is the amount for a reasonable glass coat job

Well i think Garage15 will be the best option for you. They detailed my bro's civic inside out including engine bay. Quality/ finishing was quiete reasonable. They are new in market that's why offering minimal charges i-e 12k for the whole package. Their setup is brilliant with huge invsetment (haven't seen such big setup in RWP/ISB) I would suggest you to visit there.

Its on main g.t road, right next to PSO pump. Opposite to bahria phase 7 entry point

Bhai what is glass coating can we buy from market and do it at home ? All products are available in market so why they charge so high ? What is benefit of glass coating and how can we do it ?

Yes @martial9 its of whole detailing.
Usually cheap detailers use acids, surf and same paint damaging materials behind your back to clean your car rather than using specified products.
They do improper paint correction and then hide it with a wax that can fill swirls and scratches. Hence car looks very good in first few days.. later you will discover its the same old car and swirls are back!

A better detailer would go to great lengths to paint correct your car, will machine polish it for several hours (easily 5-7hrs) and then seal it off with a durable sealant instead of wax.

2. Its a permanent bond, so you need a full paint correction and high gloss finish before applying a coating. If there are scratches, swirls and marring on paint and you apply coating over it then it stays there. Coating will not fill in scratches, it would seal them. So a full fledge paint correction is required prior to its application.
3. These products are for professional use only, coatings if applied improperly can be a big nuisance to deal with.. they are not easy on, easy off products like car waxes or sealants. They need proper prep, proper application and proper removal
4. If the coating is not buffed off propery you will have to compound polish the area again with a machine polisher to remove it or sand it with a sand paper
5. Again these products are designed to be applied by dealers and professionals, not DIY range. So dont try it at home. Neither thy are available off the shelf for sale.

Sorry but..one of very famous and reliable person ( from PW ) confirm me almost same price for Glass coating.... and i don't think he will use any Chinese products for Coat it.

Opti coat is amongst the easiest products... so yes its an exception. Usually such products gain quick acceptance as many rookies buy and apply these with ease, moreover car dealerships love offering such coatings to make a few more bucks while selling a car. Does not neccessarily mean they are what they claim to be.

There are precautions, such as any proper coating will be having SiO2 in it and that will make crystals on ur applicator and bottle's dispenser... if you are a rookie.. u can really put very bad scratches on ur car while applying it.

Real long life coatings usually arnt easy to apply. And they are not forgiving if you dont follow instructions 100%.

And i suppose you already know all what iv just said.

An informative read. Checked out 'Garage 15' today their setup was pretty nice however don't think they are proper detailing professionals/experienced enough. As I inquired about sealant & the guy seemed puzzled.

Want some proper detailing done from an experienced person.
