Very nice project, but don't you think the car's worthy enough for it? I mean it's FWD, drags are better if they're RWD. I don't suppose you're gonna convert it from FWD to RWD? If yes, that's gonna be the sickest thing ever in Pakistan.

But what if you convert it AWD? They can catch traction two times faster than the other drive trains, which might serve as a game changer for a successful drag. It's just an idea, what do you think? You're already changing the transmission.

I was ahead on launch from a 6765 single turbo built rx7 AND it was running nt555 semi slicks and i was on potenza G3 tyres on 12psi.

its all about weight......if fwd/rwd cars has a lot of weight it loses its traction, this car gonna be weighing around 900-930kg with everything without driver.....plus it will have huge drag slicks to hookup n also Kpro got launch control

there r many rwd cars which also loses traction on launch n some going sideway.....for Pak road best is awd cars but u know Honda is king in fwd so big no for convert into AWD......it can still kickass rwd cars on launch....i ve raced couple of rwd cars wen i had civic ek hatch n in some races i was ahead on launch

A fwd honda on a roll can embarrass pretty serious machines. And it can do the same on launch too but only in karachi and no other city

FWD, RWD and AWD are totally different leagues. The world fastest FWD is a Civic EG Hatch and she runs 0-200 MPH in 8 secs and its a K series tbh. The world's fastest K series (RWD converted) held a record of 6.68 secs. The Mustang Cobra from factory runs 8.9 secs at @140MPH and thats a FWD Honda running 8 secs @200MPH. Even a single cylinder Honda TRX450R hit 125 MPH spitting 128HPs at Dyno. So anything can be fast, depends upon how precisely someone's building it.

Yes, but those are two different cars, aren't they? Upon acceleration of any car, FWD or RWD, weight will shift backwards, and if it's RWD, it'll help it make up more traction. I'll repeat what I said, RWDs are better drag cars.

you will know when you will launch a rear wheel car what it takes to launch it and if you use traction all the power will go into drain then....fwd if with weight reduction there wont be any weight shifting at the back so win win...a fwd with a lauch control and big horses can easily emarasse a rwd car

Its an apples to oranges comparison. Both are different and have their own pros and cons but on the streets things arent exactly as they are in the book.

There's a reason why about 95% of the drag cars are RWD. Weight reduction does reduce weight but it doesn't actually take it to zero. What ever you do there'll be some weight obviously and in turn, weight shifting will occur, which can be put into use if the car's RWD.

The point being discussed here is that fwd cars can also be used for drags...everyone knows that more faster will be the rwd ones...noone here said that fwd are better than rwd

As i had got the new 4piston cnc oil pump i needed new oil pump chain,oil baffle plate,oil pump chain guide,oem nuts and bolts for the oil pump fittings.
