Hello Pakwheelers,
I have been going though a lot of D.I.Y threads on pakwheels and this is something that I want to do as I am a car enthusiast but never got into any DIY projects.
What I want is a fun car project, something rear wheel drive with enough power to tail out on occasions I’m not into donuts and drifting just want to have a little fun.
The car options I am looking are
1. KE-30
2. KE-70
3. Corona Mark I (don’t like the back of mark II) this is my preference but need to know the feasibility
The next part will be engine options:
1. 3sge beams
2. 2jz
3. 4AFE 20v
Or any other option which is good.
Open for transmission suggestions.
Would love to install LSD. I’ve read on some forums that hilux diff will fit into these cars need guidance.
Also with which engine will alterations such as engine mounts and is that alteration recommended. I’ve seen a lot of issues with changes in engine mount
Suspension setup:
I don’t think I should opt for coil overs simple strut bars will make do since i am not into racing and heavy drifting. In case of struts which suspension and springs are recommended.
Breaks:
For me these are really important as it’s not just about acceleration or speed one should have good enough setup to stop the car when and where required. So need suggestions for that as well.
I had a chat with @dani_kk about KE-70 he seems like a really nice guy and I might end up getting the work done from him once I select all of the above but my issue is I live in Lahore
