There was a bosch spare parts shop behind japan auto parts, they had bosch 8 inch flat face headlamps with bulbs, priced about same as scrap market.

If shop is there, try your luck.

They had rhd lamps and also lots of dash panel gauges too, also sold cups for the gauges to install externally. Including rpm meter etc tiny 2 inch gauges.

i think these can be found at ghousia motors or sultan autoes. a gali before the chat wali gali at plaza. both the shops are located inside and most famous. i got door cups and handle for corolla 81 and some ashtrays for suzuki mehran ( the old ashtrays that comes in khyber and old japanese mehran which are installed in door cards. Fx used to have only one on the left side passenger door)

there are 4 more shops with these, ask the same ghousia shop, they will tell you where it is, it is actually in the corner building with the big tibet sign on top. The shops are quite deep inside, they have all sorts of tiny plastic clips too along with a plethora of such assorted items - specially items used in taxis.

Good working people are scarce now along with owners trying to repair everything with

Etc.

No wonder the cars end up in such yard, with the flooding of trash kei cars, they will be here very quickly as they are made from recycled beer cans anyway.

I also feel that that the pre 2000 cars are going to vanish from roads very quickly. Adding on to the list of @Xulfiqar one of the last nails in the coffin are the CNG/ LPG that were installed in the carby cars and were used as the only fuel for many years. In recent years, due to shortage of CNG, people who try to run the cars again on petrol have to spend a lot of money in reviving the fuel system in original specs, thus "jugaads" like electric fuel pump (bottle shaped) are done to get the work done in lower costs. Sadly these shortcuts just make the car start on Petrol but give a lot of trouble and very poor mileage, making the user frustrated and forcing him to switch to newer efi cars.

Another thing I recently observed that many of such vehicles have their carburetors damaged and the owners don't even know where to go for getting them repaired.

Updates on the Project

Work is slowed down as we are looking for a clean roof skin. Came across a few roofs but they were already in similar shape as ours (and even worse).

Sir take a tour to Shershah with your denter. You will find it there for sure... Be prepared for bargaining though..

Effect can be seen already while I still see old khyber charades even old starlets sometimes those taxi scheme sort of 660cc mira and alto which were quite popular in 90's have disappeared
