do you plan to keep it over stock engine & use over petrol.

if you are planning color change from OEM Stock to some other shade the denter & painter shall discuss it with you in detail, together. Otherwise you will be in tears and both the K-class will be in TINTIN mode shaking off burden of mess on each other.
honestly the scraping of paint is just an eye wash. That shall be done by removing each panel independently. when fender panels, trunk, bonnet & doors are removed, the pillars and bonding edge bones can be scrubbed of rust. Applying anti rust coat before paint over the skeleton will renew the metal strength for few more years.
i mean not to annoy you or challenge the skills of the person., but this is what i have learned over this forum by reading several threads spread over decade.
