its so hard to remove the old paint and prepare the plain serface for bake paint

@wasifail89 dear it is 1971 model the sunroof is came in 1974 its have 4 disk brakes the suspention is so comfort yes its have no AC coz it is London model wooden trims never came in w115 its came in 123 and about engine i like the diesel sound MB ka maza he diesel engine ma ha .....

there were wooden trims in this car in some models
even ive seen one with an ELECTRONIC sunroof

and if money wasnt a problem for u, u shouldve bought a very nice 115 thats all origional and doesnt need the hassle

mercedes were never good as restorers throughout centuries

i say this as i have seen ppl do this...... the pleasure is always different.... but i have my eyes on ur project as well

but cars with some classic values like some coupe or convertible are always ready to be grabbed for restorations........ the diesel is ur own choice but im telling u the classic trends....

and by the way.......... every 115 has 4 disc brakes.... its not something special for urs

if how ever some mechanic do fill up the huge rust holes inthe body , the overall rigidity of the frame is long gone and these type of dent paint projects best suited for corolla 74 or datsun sunnys running in taxi, but not mercedes.
for the price of parts which you will need in order to complete this almost empty interior alone will be equal to nicely kept original car of same model.

yes Allah k karam say money wasnt a problem for me you saying that i should brought a very nice 115 dear i like hard projects . apko kis pagal nay kaha ha k MB ache restore nahe huti yah ap ke souch ha ap log us cheez k peachay run kartay hu jis k peachay say hutay ha ma ap logo may say nahe hu ma sirf wo karta hu jo mujay acha lugta ha mujay kise ke koi perwa nahe huti.... ager apko mara project acha lugraha ha tu dakhu nahe tu nahe sahe .......

in repairing this it would be a million times beneficial to use an arc welder rather than gas welding, the gas welding can make the body lose its self integrity and rigidity; and induce brittle spots which can crack

you have taken up a great task and its not that difficult to remove all the rust. (rust convertor - sand blasting and priming) - some parts may need to be treated with electrolysis to remove it.
