Can't exactly remember as I bought it in bits and pieces. First, I bought ABS equipped suspension with sensors installed on them along with axels set that has got a tone ring. Then I bought complete wiring for my car including ABS controller (computer) and modulator (pump) along with paraphernalia (from 99 00 civic).

It was year 2012 when I was doing this project and if I correctly remember suspension was around 20K and wiring was for 5K. When it came to wire the car the electrician took 15k including wiring up ABS setup.
Fitting ABS modulator unit was done by the mechanic who was responsible for installing the new engine. So in short it harldy costed me anything apart from the brake MC + booster and proportioning valve which I bought separately.

Recently I have upgraded a 2000 model civic which includes ABS setup.
Before doing the engine and rewiring work along with redoing the interior, I bought complete ABS equipped suspension setup including complete braking system this includes axels with tone ring, ABS modulator, all brake lines in the engine bay, proportioning valve, booster + MC set and ABS controller. It costed me 60k in year 2017.

This complete setup was installed in the same year (2017) and it was all plug and play without any improvisation required.
ABS controller was, however, not connected due to missing wiring harness so all the electrical connectors remained unplugged till the start of this year when remaining stuff was also bought and installed.

During this period brakes were working properly but obviously without ABS.

All parts are avaialble from pindi sultan ka koh, try to get complete setup from a single shop and bind him that he will provide or replace any of the part if found detective or missing when you install the setup.

ABS option was also avaialble in cars with rear drum brakes, therefore make sure you buy all wheel disks setup and also try to get suspension parts that belongs to same car.

You will have to buy new gauge cluster as well with ABS light.

Yes, why not. They are one the best used parts dealers in that market. Personally visit them check all the stuff and ask for the price.

Also visit other honda parts dealers in that area once you are fully satisfied then make an offer, there is always a room for price negotiation.

Yes both the car ECU and ABS controller share the same DLC (data link connector). You can read diagnostic data on a scanner and can also read codes from ABS light blinks pattern in gauge cluster by shorting service check connector.

There is one famous electrician in that area, his name is Arshad. I haven't confronted him personally but people say that he is very expert in his field though expensive than others.

I will suggest you to do all mechanical work from any standard workshop of your area that you know better, your brakes will work it doesn't matter if the ABS engages or not.

Later when you are comfortable with your pocket visit Arshad to wire the unit.Tell him that I need all orginal wiring from end to end without joints in the center, ABS light should work and so is the scanner.
Other electrician may ruin both ABS and original wiring of your car.

If possible before buying parts contact him so that he can guide you to buy what particular parts are required that you may miss.
