instead of just bolting on the bumpers try grafting them on to the car so it looks like it came with them from the facotry.
Try to aviod all te "rice' mods like fins and neons. try thinking about how what the suzuki guys woudl have done in 1988 if they had todays parts at their disposal, try to improve everthing.
I'd also suggest you spend as much money as needed on the mechanical parts beofer you even consider the painting and stuff, make sure you fit new bushes in the suspension and things like that, all the "chamak dhamak" can be doen later on as well.
the finishing of the project will show how much attention to detail you put into this car and will ultimately be the deciding factor between a huge hit and a flop.
