Its an expensive job to restore an old Kawasaki with Japanese spares.
In above bike only three things are from new Skm Kawasaki
2-Side covers (tappy)
3-Tail light cover & speedo meter (cover only)
Remaining each & every part is Japanese.
My restore cost is about 42,000/- inclusive of labour.
its a long list of spares, even wheel spokes I purchased Japanese.
Chrooming, paining,new Japanese head cylinder with zero size piston, new clutch box, new 5 speed gear box, replaced the old point technology with GTO 125 CDI, new GTO 125 weight with connecting rod & piston.
New buffle,new Japanese silencer band,new side bottle, new battery, new wiring, new head light |(internal only).\used front shocks with complete disc assembly, rare Used shocks, jan kits, pech kits, it was a painful Job to collect all above mentioned items...and forgive me if i miss any thing like all bearings,brake shoes, disc pads, speedo meter cables & bulbs, silicon |& solution tapes etc
But end of the day i am satisfied that its still with me after 25 years it can still touch its full meter & can beat any bike in its class.No stock Honda cg-125 can beat this beauty...GTO once GTO for-ever:*
