I suggest you keep the original colour and use original engine. Is it a 3k or a 4k? Those engines were designed to compete decades old beetles at that time. You can imagine how much hard work must have been put in them. Get a good rebuild on it as well. These corollas carry a legacy in pakistan as every household had at least one in the past. Keeping originality will carry that legacy even further.

I live all the way in Karachi for parts I have to go to sheershah for the front new grill , I want seat beats for the car as everything is in good shape , interior is in good shape aswell and I don't think ican get the original rims for 1976 corolla in Karachi , Lol i ll try to restore it to 100 % but I doubt about the rims because i will add some cool rims in this car , thanks for the offer sir

KE30 Engine Code 3K , I got it overhauled with complete genuine parts made in Japan and its waiting to be chipped in when the denting and painting work is complete , I went through your cars thread on Pakwheels and really liked it and from there I got the idea of restoring the car and I will keep the car 98% in original condition because Original is good , Thankyou Sir

76 have a distinctive front grill & tail lights, I personally like the 1s offered in 76 as compared to 79. Not sure about rest of the pakwheelers. Most of the cars in North were converted to up Model by changing these two items & bumpers. It was just a begining, this was repeated on Corrola 82, 86, 88 and so on. I loved the car done by Spectra and focus was originality. Incase you dont find the stock rims {which U can hunt easily & hub caps are arriving from US :)} then go for charcoal grey alloys

Thats a very good car , I really love the exterior and the rims but the originallity of the car has been lost as the dashboard has been changed and so is the interior nothing is original inside even the engine is change but the car is looking very sexy
