lol - someone swapped a GDI into a car - high on bad coke I beleive.. Its as good as ack basswards. Anyway - mitubishi swaps are the easiest (for me), everything follows a similar pattern, For absolute best result, I would suggest that you dont just handover the entire package to someone for swap. Take out the old engine/trans/radiator etc, now remove the engine wiring by taking notes - match to your existing wiring.
Mechanically fit the engine to the car - it would be a 5 hour job at max. Make sure everything is in place where it should be. Now get to the wiring part. You just need to make sure you know the wires of the cut you have. (get a wiring diagram)
The only parts you need to take care of are
live
switched
ground
fuel pump
dash out (if applicable)
HVAC
The rest is prewired. Always be at least 25% involved in it so you dont face any loss in the future.
