I may go for a change. But for that i need the opinion of others so that i do not go wrong.

This is with reference to engine change in my LJ. About the last set up, just to remind you that the LJ is performing very fine in offroading but needs some skills for that. Also the petrol 660 cc feels like it lacks power, and also i am not a petrol lover at all.

I am planning to go for a diesel change of 1N, i think it's 1600 cc. Someone also suggested the diesel of charade ie 1000cc. Remember the weight of my suzuki is hardly 570 kg's much lesser than even a small suzuki which weighs around a 1000kg's.

Need your opinion.
Also if some one can tell me the market rates of both these engines. Kabli and civil.

I was planning to do some work after this hunting season which is now almost over. So did go for some changes this week. The main was engine/ transmission.

The existing set up was good but wanted to have some more power so after discarding 1N diesel and the stock 1000cc petrol of potohar, i went for the same 660cc but the one with EPI intercooled turbo. This produces more hp's than the 1000cc. will now have to alter for the intercooler box on hood.
