I need a suggestion. Although i am inclined more towards stock with no fashion at all but due to the roll cage and roof rack which is in a square shape, the vehicle looks like a box especially if u look at it from the front or rear. I want something out of body for which i can have the fenders later on. With, out of body, i mean hollow but not wide. And that's because of the limited engine power. The existing tyres and 16X5" wide steel (original potohar) rims are good for the little engine. Pls suggest keeping in view the effects of any combination on top speed. The options are
1. Keep it as it is.
2. Spacers with the existing rims. Pls suggest the width of spacers which will not effect the drive as it's not a power steering.
3. 15" alloy rims slightly wider. Like 6" or max 7" with any other tyre set.

Such a narrow car never designed for a high centre of gravity (which those high riding rear seat hunters/passengers WILL give!) this setup looking dangerous standing still. Safety first.

This is a temporary hood which will be used only for summers. I had this cloth with me so made use of it. Will make a proper one after the eid holidays.

If u see closely, you'll notice a half inch rubber in between. This is to make the vehicle air tight.

Making full use of eid holidays, i last night fixed this rubber mat which is in one piece. It looks easy but took a lot of time in it's cutting.

The yellow arrow shows a frame out of the chassis. This is being made to hold the body from where the 15" extension is done. It will not only strengthen the body but will also be like a support to the front seats.

Also if you see in the first picture, the newly installed "DHOLKI" of the cylincer is a bit low, so it will be moved in the place which is being encircled in the 2nd pic.

The hunting season is on and i am busy in moving around in the land cruiser. Got myself motivated and continued working on suzuki. A good set of light weight rims and slightly wider tyres were always in the pipeline. So purchased this set today.
