Project : Mehran Makeover MOD

Dear Pak Wheelers

I am driving Suzuki Mehran VXR 2007 for last 10 years. I love this car as it helps me through times.

Now I wanted to give her a complete makeover so your suggestions and practical tips are needed.

Some areas of focus for me

1. Rust proofing
2. Engine overhaul - Done
3. Make it completely Noice Free
4. Air-conditioning system to work above 40
5. Cosmetics exterior ( touchups, add-ons for better look and feel, polishing)
6. Cosmetics Interior ( Dashboard, Lights, Seats, etc)
7. Make smooth ride on bumpy roads (suspension, Jumps, foundation, etc)

All suggestions and tips are welcome except to sale the Mehran. IA will be doing this project for my satisfaction and paying back to 10 years partner.

If you have overhauled the engine awesum.

Now before overhauling the suspension you should do is buy a rubberized undercoat ICI, Berger etc take the car to the service station get it propy washed from underneath and spray the coat under the car. 3 coats are required and it is prepared using petrol. And your car is rust proof for quite sometime...
I am asking you to do this before suspension overhaul because any rubber part will get damaged by the coating.

For Noise reduction and for you AC to work in summer. You need to soundproof/heat sheild your car. You can buy sound deadening for the doors and boot online. And use Master Industries Jumbolon for the roof and the floor. The sound will be reduced so as the heat in the cabin making you AC work..

Get the suspension overhauled for better ride. That's the best you can do with out modifying anything.

And in the last go for your cosmetic changes. I will say keep it as much original as you can

Silver colour..yeah I will share the picture before start of work.

any paint work required? coz be careful with silver paint. i have seen many repainted silver mehran and 90% of them do not have proper silver paint.

Thanks for the tip. No major paint work is required only minor touchups. Will ensure to done it from right place

And with the right color code of good quality. bus touchup nazr na ae. agar asi minor hai k neglect ho sakhta hai tou chor do. and just make sure when you have done all work. compund polish kar k cham cham kar dena mehru ko.
