you are missing the fuse box cover, expansion tank and airbox - btw if you feel that you need to overhaul the injection pump then only trust Diesel Power Systems Pakistan to repair it.

There is a strange noise coming from the differential or the rear axle i guess, when i release the throttle at a particular speed a strange.. grrr grrrr grrr sound comes, but when i floor it it disappears..what could that possibly be??

ok guys i have added some stuff to my ride..got the windows tinted, new tyres, new stereo, new steering wheel and AC is installed..INSHALLAH will post pics soon..

check the driveshaft centre bearing and rear axles too, It is also wise to check the trailing arm mounts for damage, they are beyond their best at this age. If its from inside the diff - drain and fill with correct 90W gear oil (dinosaur juice and not synthetic), if the noise is bad, i would suggest you open the diff cover and inspect the gearing.

people really dont expect the 5 cyl turbo to run like it does, heck people dont expect my NA 3.0 engine to run - but its really fun when I can pull away from them at 60 mph all the way to 110 mph.

I just saw this thread. Being a chronic enthusiast of classic mercs, it is a pleasure to see another elderly model being preserved. The car must be of sentimental value for you which is also to be appreciated. In my opinion, the W115 is the most difficult shape ( out of the older models) to get the body lines straight.

@kiki in addition to what xulfiqar has mentioned i would also recommend if you check and see the ratio stamped on your differential - is the right differential installed on the car? most likely at times the car does get motor transplants but rarely is the correct differential with the appropriate ratio installed along with the new motor going into the car

Thank you so much.. The body work is done, the car is running well, but finding some of the parts are a real headache..i still havent been able to get its windshield rubber. I'm a lahori, but currently in Islamabad, so if u know any shop that could help me get its parts so that would be a great help.. Thanks in Advance...

Yes bro, differential is the right one and the original one as the car is running on its ORIGINAL engine since 1975..
