i must say man.......... your grandfather has passed you a car which had his taste in it....... after alot many years im watching an INLINE body 115 being restored......

I can bet that this going to be the best restored beauty in our country, the originals would be perhaps much better.

Mechanical works wont be an issue at all because there are still abundant suspension/brake/steering/engine parts available for these in rwp area

there might be problems with interior things and rubbers etc but i see that are fine in your car

you may top up ur restoration by importing such kits from germany and not use the irani parts

Thank you so much brother..:)..i had read ur posts in another thread about mercedes..i was kinda waitng fr ur comments and storm bhai's comments..its indeed a great car with in line body..and Inshallah i will import its original parts from germany time to time..atm i hv 2 lakhs in hand and am spending my own money on this car and i am still a student..

sorry guys was busy this week..university has started so managing workload plus this project is difficult..but the work is on..the car is with the mechanic fr the mechanical work..the bushes of the car are totally worn off..the brake pads and brake servo needs to b replaced..the work is on still..the car will b sone with all the mechanical stuff on monday and then inshallah it will b ready fr the paint job..

for any bushing or joint, do not buy anything else than lemforder branded parts.

btw were you able to find the matt finish smoke gray shade that is supposed to be painted in the boot.

Ok bro..today am gonna get the parts..i'll keep that in mind..and no i'm unable to find that so far..but have seen a car with that shade and hv asked my denter to match that color..its dark smoke gray nd matt finish..
