what is condition of engine & transmission mounts do u plan not change those ? post pictures of old ones please steering dampner for 2500 is damn expensive

those are REALLY reasonable prices thanks to the stuff being available in "kabli" form, even genuine suzuki parts are more expensive then that but we are used to buying the dese made parts

The OE steering shock is made by stabilus and is about correctly priced in todays money. Please post what brand of ball joints and other bits you bought, Do not omit to renew the idler arm bushings and the front subframe bushings too, When installing do not make the mistake of using grease on any of those - otherwise you will be replacing them within the year.

Do not use old scrap rubber brake lines for this - it is suicide to do. If you cannot find original MB then look for VW bug ones - they also fit. If you have a brake parts shop in your city - take your old line and match it to something they have.

btw I did not see wheel bearings in the list, repack the old ones with 60 grams grease in the hub and 15 grams in the cap - use the modern spec genuine MB wheel bearing grease or buy some synthetic base wheel bearing grease and set clearance correctly, its a little fiddly, the service manual speaks of using a dial indicator to set clearance. Its overkill but worth it. OTOH if you or mechanic has very sensitive nerves and knows how to correctly pack a wheel bearing then you or he can get about 80% close to the spec by hand.

be very careful - its very easy to cook the bearing in a MB, it might seem perfect but maybe too tight - which then cooks the grease and destroys the bearing.

Considering the fact that it's a Merc and that too so old, I personally think the rates are perfect. Lots of stuff you got there I see. Keep us posted and your patience in tact!

thank u so much brother..:)..ur suggestions have helped me alot..:)..and all the bushes are replaced bro..and FEBI and lamforder parts are used..and yes the damper is of stabilus..

recently FEBI parts have been coming from really bad sources, I have seen their new stock ball joints go bad within 6 months, tie rod boots rot out in 3 months killing the joint, Lemforder (the ULLU brand) are the real deal. That is what MB used at the production line and those parts work for decades without question.

hmm...but i chekd the febi parts..by the looks they were looking good..:/..lamforder parts are quite short here..as per ur suggestion i had ask them fr lemforder ones..whatevr part was available of lamforder i got that..
