I didn't stop once i started reading. Very interesting thread. I myself like Santro and owned one in past but I like plus more than club. I would put big bulky items in the back seat by folding it down no problem.

Inner axles of this car were ok......plus the rod, so in place of replacing the outer we exchanged it with complete set for 5k. If i would have gone for kabli outers it would have costed 4.5k..............and if complete axle i.e. inner + outer was to be replaced, the set would have costed 8.5 - 9k

Thread is not very old brother........ the project is still on, break in progress due to uncertain conditions in Karachi

Dear brother

The project vehicle is fitted with the original f/f AC that came from Dewan, don't know the exact specification but you can find it easily.

About the Duet Compressor and Multi flow condenser thing...........I recently got AC installed in my Mehran Euro II from Karachi. I was offered 3 choices, i.e.

1- New denso unit with Duet Compressor (Rs 22,000)
2- Whole new set of denso including compressor (Rs 25,000)
3- Whole new set of denso (multi flow) (Rs 41,000)

As I had to suddenly leave for Saudi Arabia, I had to handover the car to my uncle for completing the remaining works. So no pictures available for now......... but the project has been completed and the work horse is on duty
