Project - Suzuki Khyber

Got the engine foundations changed so now there is no play in the gear lever and shifting has become alot smoother.
Some other minor works were also completed during the weekend.

Got the bumper fitted back, its better than before but still the results are not upto my expectations.
Also got rid of the two screws (highlighted in blue) that were fitted later for support.

Got new rear shock absorbers.

New set of plug wires.
I had bought a similar set some time back but gave it to a friend who wanted it for his car.

This radiator cap was hard to find.
Finally got the original ND one.

Some other miscelleneous stuff for my car.

I want a console box for my car.
The ones available in the market are useless.
A decent one with good quality plastic, preferably the Swift GTi one should work.
Also I would like to have the small rack below the glove box in my car.
Where can I find it?

how did you get the red circle depressions straightened. By adjusting the inner frame of bumper or just by heating the bumper

It was done by heating the bumper only.
The inner bumper brace does not covers these corners and thus every second Khyber you'll see has this issue with bent corners of the bumpers.

They look alike and there is resemblance in their sound too but the Corolla ones are more shrill than these.

where did u get the carburetor for ur car, mine is done for i think, wishing to replace rather than repair

I checked the markets today but no one was having the new carburetor for Margalla.
Khyber one was available but everyone directed me to visit scrapyards for Margalla's carburetor.

IT LOOKS brand new yar u really know who to keep this car and now i got the denso rad cap these came in scrapyards and most of them have worn out rubber so no faida of buying them btw kitine ki mille?
plus i cee some rubber on doors for most cars it looks paindoish but on ur car its luking gr8 i am thinkning of some air press and door gaurds for my ALto too but lets see

I also dont like these rubbers but they have protected the doors from scratches so didnt remove them.
The radiator cap was for 600 PKR. Was the last piece at the shop.

Horns were for 900 PKR.
Got them from Waseem Autos Saddar.
The radiator cap was for 600 PKR.
Got it form Islamabad.
Its copies were available but the original one was hard to find.
This was the last piece available.
