I had this car from 2008 till 2018 during my golden teen years. Great memories!

My advise: Make sure not to ignore the little things. I made the mistake of ignoring the radiator during the rebuild. Nearly blew the gaskit. Buy a new radiator if it looks rusted and old. My imbecile mechanic told me to leave it.

Also, make sure that the car wiper is installed correctly. My winshield broke soon after the rebuild as that drat installed it incorrectly.

Little Mechanical shopping haul.

Bought a new water pump fir yhe engine as one right niw wobbles and sprays water at the bonnet, got new engine foundations/mount , also got new axle boots as ones right now are toast.

Also went ahead and bought some interior stuff , like AC knobs , sun visor etc

Update 27-9-2022

Finally got the engine back in the car .

Next step would be wiring and finalizing the car towards paint.

The thing about our mechanics and denters is that they would never change , for example our car had approximately 10 liters of petrol when we give it to the denter a month ago and the only running of the car is getting the car outside of the shop and back into the shop and somehow that used up all of our fuel , this resulted in car nit starting when we put the engine back in and the fuel tank was dry ( not literally but had small amount just in the end) had to get around more petrol to start the car , or oopar se petrol pump walay bhi chor , don’t know where our petrol went but that’s a lesson learned , or phir ham boltay hain ghar ma khushaali nahi hai , floods kyon aarhay.

Your guy didnt bother to remove the brake lines, booster and master cylinder from the car before painting?

Um no @Xulfiqar as we had to get the car from mechanic to the painter thats why they weren’t removed but the area behind them was painted .

@Xulfiqar yes , but soldering, crimping and using heat shrinks where needed.

Use only cold crimping and heatshrink, soldering leads to cracking if you dont support the wiring loom.

Got the dashboard back in the car .

Also the wiring is done around 90% and the car is start.
