Make sure you buy narva or koito bulbs all around. Avoid fancy Chinese or unbranded local bulbs.

Also check brake lights, parking lights, work as they should before final packing

Mehran, Khyber, margalla had this issue of one light going off when pressing brake.

Margalla plus orignal garnish didn't have brake lights on the boot, just a red reflector.
Also check if the top mount brake lamps is working.

Suzuki gave a good one in margalla, later baleno had a very cheap third brake lamp.

PS: keep the steering original. If it's in a bad state get a new one, but keep it orignal.

Alright, @chinyoti will keep all that stuff in mind, and will try to find Koitos bulbs.

Don't know if the garnish had a reflector or not, but my car had wires for the garnish's lights. and Yes, margalla had a good quality third brake lamp.also compliments the look of the car, otherwise, people get that thin strip for parking lamps, looks chichori tbh.

Look up old catalogs for margalla plus, you will see that it only was a giant reflector,

The wiring you see is for number plate bulbs and if more holders are present, unpack the wiring and you will see where someone joined those extra wires.

yes orignally margallah had a giant reflector and no brake lights in the garnish area around the number plate.

however unfortunately once i broke my orginal garnish due to some wanna be kid who didnt know how to ride a motor bike, i got the japanese replacement and that koito garnish had 2 brake lights in it in the reflector area.

to my surprise there were switches in my orignal margallah wiring which i just had to plug with the garnish and wow 2 brake lights started working on orignal wiring no change.

pkdm garnish had only connection for reverse light and number plate light, however japanese garnish had provision of 2 extra brake lights. and orignal wiring had extra unused switches which just needed to be to plugged in the garnish.

love the brake light of margallah now, it lights up 6 bulbs at the back in my case AL HAMD U LILLAH. 2 are normal brake bulbs in main lights at the back, 2 are in garnish and 2 bulbs in top mounted brake light in the rear glass of the car.

it does light up well and warn the traffic of brake has been applied in an apt manner.

@Thinking that’s what my plan ia , when brake is applied , brake lamps will go brighter, with garnish’s light going off , and The third brake lamp lighting up too Andhay ko bhi nazar ajaiga k gaari ruk rahi.

my garnish lights turn on when brake is applied. otherwise they are off in normal operation.

In case you want to fancy the interior you can paint ac grills in silver like it came in Cultus limited Edition.

Have you checked the windscreen in the defogger is working ? I feel you will need to polish/Buff all glasses, I see paint / Clear coat residue on the glass.

@chinyoti not a huge fan of cultus’ silver accent , will stick to the blackish/grey color of the interior .

Also the car isn’t painted yet , will get the glass buffed later.and the the defogger works.

Update 5-10-2022

Pseudo coat applied to dashboard , another coat will be applied later, also,all the other interior trims, bits and pieces will be painted in this color.

And both the windscreens installed too.

This finish is too bright for a dashboard, it will reflect off the glass and be incredibly annoying while driving. Ask the guy to use more matting agent.

Yes @Xulfiqar bhai , that was also the answer of my painter when I said to him if we could do it glossy, but I can vouch for you that, irl it's more of a matte tone rather than glossy.

It needs to be more matte. This is still too glossy. The amount of matte you want is explained as a very old leather shoe that has not been polished in years.

@ahmed_11 @helper_learner I set it in line with the marking, was ok that time, after the installation of the meter it, decided to go back down,

Set it again, and press it backwards, if it still go back then leave it as it is... the pin might be broken...
