Hi Guys!

I have been working to restore/modify a 1980 Corolla Coupe for some time now. I am sharing some pics here of the work in progress. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome.

This is how I bought it with the original 4K motor and these rims!

The interior is in very bad nick, I will go for a plain black interior feel with minimal gadgets.

The dashboard is intact. I am looking for a speedometer with an RPM meter for this model. If any of you have any idea where I can find it, do let me know. Also looking for semi bucket seats, and any suggestions for the rear seats (where I can get them, and what options do I have)

Also looking for the rubber channels for the quarter panels and windows.

The plan was to swap 4AGE 20v in place of this 4K motor.

ill too suggest the same as crashd , keep everything original and no major changes in parts or alteration to get the original jdm look

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I do intend to keep it original both exterior and interior as much as I can. Its difficult to find little bits and pieces for this model, but I am trying.

This is what it looks like now. The engine, exhaust, and transmission have been mounted and working. Brakes are done. Still need to tune the engine right though. As soon as I get the engine tuning right the car goes off to get the suspension work done.

So the car was painted matte black a couple of weeks back. The suspension is set now. Still need to get steering and brakes fixed. Here are a few pics
