Aoa,
After a very long time, I've finally got the engine for my RX80 cressida. Its a 1JZGTE VVT-i out of a JZS171 crown. the engine is in good nick with complete wiring to the ecu. This is going to be a very slow project as right now I'am waiting on general maintenance parts to arrive and completing things which are required for the swap. This is also a restoration project.

Does anyone have wiring diagrams for the cabin loom as that is cut on mine and the diagrams for the electric fans.
Pics have been attached and opinions and suggestions are welcome.

Hopefully I shouldn't run into any problems with the ECTS-i system as that is concerned with the ecu and the wiring for the ecu is as from the factory.

Does anyone have wiring diagrams for the 1JZ from X110 Mark ii or S171 crown. I need the wiring diagrams from connector D (28 pin) and E (22 pin).

Update:
Took off the turbo and found out that the turbine wheel was broken. So I got another turbo and put it on the engine. Parts for the car and the engine have arrived. Also finished up tagging the cut wires from the ECU. I also got a digital meter that came of a 1JZ fitted Mark ii. Dismantled it to clean it up. The swap will be done in the next few weeks. Also got a set of 17 inch wheels for the cressi.

Best of luck brother. Looks like you have already figured out a way of sourcing parts for the motors. Allmotor had an r154 lying around a few weeks back not sure if they still have it or not. What are your plans for the rear end ? gonna weld an IRS ? or sticking to Solid RA ? Gonna give you tons of wheel spin.
Plus are you sure this setup came out of a CROWN ?

Thankyou. I'am still on the hunt for a R154 but sadly my budget doesn't allow it. So I'am going to use the factory manual mode and control the automatic manually. I'am looking for paddle shifters to mount on the streering column and use them to shift the transmission.

As for the rear end I'm going with the solid axle as welding an IRS is a pretty hard job and it will never be perfectly aligned. I've sourced a LSD solid axle that has a ratio of 3.9 so will be bolting that on. The current diff ratio actually is a perfect match to the one the JZX110 Mark II has from factory, 3.7, but its not an lsd.
The engine is either from a JZX110 Mark II (IR-V spec) or a JZS171 Crown (Athlete V spec). Either way the ECU pinouts are the same for both models and actually are identical to the 2JZ-GTE VVT-i ecu that comes in the JZS161 Aristo. So wiring wise it will be the same as wiring up a 2JZ which is good as the internet is full of wiring diagrams and usefull resources.

For those who have this engine with the ETCS-i throttle , I've attached below the wiring diagrams and ecu pinouts that I found on other forums. These are for the JZS171 and JZX110 models. Most of the wiring diagrams are from wilbo666's wiki. He has alot of wiring diagrams.

So finally the engine swap has started. During the past few weeks we've been sorting out the wiring. We got a Mark II inner dashboard and engine body harness. We went on about making it compatible with the 1jz. Today we got a pair of jzx90 engine mounts and brackets and hopefully the engine will be sitting properly in the bay tomorrow.

So the engine is in. We used one JZX90 bracket and one JZX100 mount to get the engine sitting properly on the cross member. The wiring harness has also been put in the car. However it needed to be extended to fit under the fender like the original one. We're seeing as to how the intercooler can be fitted. It is a 600x300x63mm intercooler. Uptil now, no body modification has been made and neither do we plan to do any.

The intercooler will be mounted inside the bumper. We're making brackets and sorting out the piping. The pipes will go from underneath, between the frame support and bumper support.

Yes, this is a sleeper. The into thing that may give it away will be the rims, but other than that everything will be kept stock.

The Mark II gear lever has been fitted. Some body cutting around the shifter was required to make it properly fit.

So the engine has finally been started. We ran into some problems with us not getting main +B and B2 power due the TEMS relay. We sorted that out and it started right up.....only on 4 cylinders.

Startup (Before)

We cross checked each and every wire twice, opened up the ecu to see if it had blown caps, but the ecu its in very good nick. Turned out that the coil wiring was not correct and was not at the proper firing sequence for Cylinder 1 and 5. We changed that and it ran smoothly.

Startup (After)

Now the problem is, whenever we plug in the AFM, the engine dies. If we give it more throttle it runs very rich and smokey. The AFM is new and we ordered the correct part, the VVT-i solenoid is also new and the ETCS-i is functioning proper. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The AFM is like this:

Whenever we plug the connector to this the engine dies or will run very poorly.
@tahakhan125 I checked those links and they seem to be for the non-turbo models, except for the 2JZ. Our 1JZ has the Air flow meter in it.
