Well first dont buy scrap, buy a car that has no major accident or major rust issues and has a complete interior, secondly if you want a daily driver then probably you dont need a 2j, coilovers, disc brakes, making a custom transmission tunnel, lsd diff, wide tyres etc etc .
probably it would cost you over 2 lacs not taking into account the price of the car.
personally this car has cost me more than 5 lacs but probably some of the extra cost was due to my bad luck (had to replace many things twice) plus some novice mistakes khair i think every body faces these issues in project car and you have to take them in account before embarking on a project.
