Proposed upgrade 2 queries and a pic.....mughal jee your advice needed to

So I have narrowed down my options for my upgrade.
For sub instead of pioneer champion or spl I am going for Alpine SWR-1223D (image included). Let me know your thoughts on this. With sealed enclosure. I dont know what frequency to set it though. I have heard box must be some frequency.
And might change the focal 2 .75 amplifier to a 4 channel amp.

here is the confusing part. Alpine PDX -M12 VS Crunch PZi 1500

Can you all tell me which one is better . I know they both can handle the load of the sub. But in price there is a lot of difference. And to get the Alpine I would be going way out of my budget. And would have crossed all limit for my budgets with all the upgrades i have done but do believe do it ONCE but do it RIGHT.

Also do I need to install a Stinger or any other capacitor for my car for this woofer and amplifier to work . And a fuel cell or anything of the sort? I have just upgraded my car battery to 50 ampere. Do I have to change it id rather not? And I do want my car to work and start once I install the amplifier and the subwoofer. I dont want the car not to start or the battery to drain.

Let me know sound masters, gurus and everyone.....good honest advice needed for a brother .....many thanks in advance

Type R is a gr8 sub for your taste. If u plan for a single type R, no need to go for alpine M12, PDX M6 will be sufficient. Ideally u shud put it in a ported enclosure not sealed. For box dimensions and tuning u shud contact splfanatic.

Crunch PZi 1500 does not suit ur sub in any way....@4ohm it gives only 375w and that too is over-rated, so i recommend u go for Alpine PDX-M6.

Rest you can wait for spl gurus for further suggestions.

Mughaljee thank you do much for your reply. I have read that sealed enclosure is better sounding than ported. So any reason you suggest ported. Also bhai any suggestions if I have to update the battery and install capacitor or fuell cell........thanks

Yaar since u lean towards SPL u shud go for ported enclosure, they produce more pressure levels. Sealed enclosure is mainly for SQ. I never changed my battery and i don have capacitor in my car so i can't give u suggestion on that but i think for this setup u don't need a capacitor or upgrade battery.

Guess what brother the shop guy does not have focal 4 channel amp now. The one he has is according to him abut old and has rust on terminals the 4. 75 so I may still.sell the solid audio.and.just get another. Focal 2.75 for the back speakers meaning in my car I.will have.two.focal 2.75 amps and one alpine amp and the.sub woofer I.e. three amps and the sub woofer ....interesting point about sq and SPL levels

Get Alpine PDX F4 or F6 4 Channel amp for your comps and rear coaxial and
Alpine PDX M6 + Alpine TypeR combo.

any specific reason for suggestion Alpine pdx 4 or 6 over two focal 2.75 channel amplifiers?. The guy saying pdx m6 not available for the sub only m12

like in quality is the alpine pdx 4 much better than the 2 focal amplifiers apart from the increased 100 rms

Then look for Alpine MRX-M50 500 rms Mono Amp . You dont need M12 unless ur going to install 2 TypeR's .

Mrx m50 though is 500 rms and the sub i am looking to purchase is upto 600 rms. Dont you think that will be a bad fit? Also it all depends if the guy even has the mrx m50 !! he seems to run out of stock quite abit or playing a smart one.

Bro try asking focal lahore dealer, m sure they can arrange solid 4 for you. One option is u just run front speakers off LE and rears from head unit. Get mono and sub and check out the sound.....u can always get a 2ch for rear anytime u like. 2 LE focals are much better than any alpine in ur range.

In that case check out this amp.....very nice clean amp available in khi for around 30k

Harman Kardon CA 1500. Gives out 900w @1ohm and since ur sub can handle upto 1800w max so it would really bang ur sub hard.

Bro I live in Karachi that is the issue with sourcing stuff from Lahore. The guy here only has a used solid 4 . Also I don't think its possible to have three amps in the back. Hence I'm looking for a four channel.

Do you think I need the big three upgrade too if I put the mono alpine and either the hour channel alpine or add another focal along with the banging sub. I prefer mixture of SPL and sq not one or the other.mostly 65 percent s 35 percent sq

Bro focal dealer can ship to u no pb at all. If u want cheaper mono then go for kenwood series, they are also good. U can check the variety at haroon radio khi. Best would be one 4ch amp for speakers and one mono for sub. U can get 3 amps in the trunk no pb at all. Two on back seat and one on side, that's not an issue.

Bro big3 is not a pre-requisite for ICE, like i haven't done mine yet but definitely if u do u get proper current to ur amps and hence better sound so do put it in ur to-do list.
