Pros and cons Honda Civic Hybrid 1300CC

Hi everyone i wanted to ask goods and bads of Honda Civic Hybrid Japanese as im looking for one and i will put a decent spoiler and a body kit on it some decent low profiles and maybe wrap hids fog lights a music system with active subwoofer without amp and a lcd maybe some pioneer clarion or kenwood one etc
some one recently told me that there is some problem with civic hybrid ECU and i will cost a lot so is it true and what about hybrid battery IMA when its needed to be changed and any other problems wit hybrid one and is it suitable for long routes ?? please share your valueable thought and guide me....

No problem with the issue
The common issue with these is that the hybrid battery runs out quick due to their system.
Just bought a civic hybrid a week ago,
IMA error light is on still gave me 12.7 mileage from Saddar to DHA 2 in rush hour traffic

Parts are sometimes a difficulty since you can get new, like a coil was broken so i got a kabli one very cheap but still a used part

What's about battery Honda claimed after 5 lac kms which I seen is 2011 model import 2014 and 64k milage

If the car is 2011 model and 2014 import likhwa lain meray say 64k mileage nai hai meter rever kia wa hai
Bain hath ka khel hai meter reverse karna 10 min ka kaam hota hai total.

Secondly claim sab companies karti hain but thats under perfect condition. Mileage bhi Prius ki claimed 37 something hain lekin aj tak nai ayyi hogi kissi owner ki. Yeh perfect conditions are brand new tires, filers, premium fuel, perfect 60-80 optimal speed. Clean air etc etc etc
Same is the case with hybrid batteries and jitni jahil awan hai yahan ki dangaron ki tarag gaari ko use kartay hain maintain nai kartay these batteries dont last more than 100-150k . Jo mein ne li thi half of the plugs were taped. Tape se joray way thay i mean itna sasta tha last owner. i meant 800rs ka kabli mil jata hai nai lia tape se juzara kia. Hood latch broken tha uski jagga steel ki taar lgai wi thi hood kholnay k liye etc etc
Not all are like this but most of them are

Even if warranty bhi ho battery ki thats not applicable in Pakistan
So thoroughly check the car if IMA light is on and even if it is not on kissi good electrician se scanner connect karwa k check karain koi hidden errors tou nai .

whats your personel experience with hybrid civic what was itsa milage when the battery was good ?

if its not gonna be your primary car, why a hybrid, why not the conventional local built reborn

Yes PakWheels inspection is the right way to go.

I bought it a week ago, i have no idea if my battery is good or not since IMA light is on but it can be quite a few things so cant comment on the mileage with a good battery as of right now but on Youtube i have seen it gives 18 easily which i wont ever believe.
Max i think it will give is 15-16 with all thing working.
I have been meaning to get all the maintainence done but time nai mila
I have changed the oil, oil filter, Ac filter, Air filter, did brake service myself and throttle body myself.
Plugs diggi mein paray hain need changing. CVT fluid diggi mein para hai needs changing.
it needs electronic callibration
Need to check battery fan, if its clogged,
Hybrid battery buster bars rusted or not, replace 12V battery,

it will take me at least 2-3 weeks to get it all done then i can tell you what is the mileage of a fully functioning proper civic hybrid

The seller is saying that it's 1st owner car and he's using since 5 year but the battery is still going perfect .... And I'll have to spent 1 lac max to make it new again my list is

don't do this to a hybrid, do it to the other one, since after doing this, you will want to floor it quite often to showboat.
Best to buy a regular reborn, and the prices that you have quoted are of sub standard materials the actual good quality stuff will set you back a lot more,
just an example, HIDs, decent pair is for around 15k to 20k, good ones for 25k.

The only problem is AVERAGE . As regular Civic is 1.8 and this one's 1.3 many people don't buy Reborn s because of poor average .. And as you said standard price Hids will work and what else is not good please tell me I'll see what can be done AND is WRAP good of 45K he's telling it's dry wrap from Thailand and will give 2 years warranty. Sounds good to me how it sounds to you ???

No no I'll not make it ahowboat but just simple modification like said above body kit etc no down to that earth I'll keep it as my regular car so I have to travel long routes on it From Karachi To Islamabad .. so that's why I can't floor it

I thought you said that this is a fun weekend car, who cares about the average when the car drives 500km a month?
If you are concerned with average, get a city instead, a hybrid is not one to play around like this with.
a decent body kit will cost 15 and above, navigation panel of a good company will cost 50k,
can't say about the wrap, dont know much about them

No no BMW was going to be the weekend car because of it's low budget so I was keeping my move but now I'm selling my move and buying this one instead. And how about Corolla GLI Automatic 2011 I also prefer shape city I don't think much about...

But y u r not liking Civic everyone on my other forum said Civic so I found myself a Civic I only want automatic so GLI touches 1.4 million in auto so Civic will be of 12'80. If I buy so price range if I buy Corolla I'll do the same things
