Pros n cons of santro

I have decided to go for santro rather than any of suzuki car,as i have to travell freqently between isb and peshawar.
You brothers are requested to guide me if have a good decision or not.
And plz guide me about the pors n cones of santro

Pros: great drive, best ac, comfortable front seats, gud milage and gud build quality
Cons: back seats are a lil uncomfortable and less spacious, no road sode mechanics and a lil costly maintainence than cultus...my advice: go for santro with eyes closed

parts are bit expwnsive but way durable then that to suzuki so no frequent visits to mechanics at all.

Riding Santro is a pleasure if you are sitting on front seats and a nightmare if you are sitting on rear seats...rear seats placed in a very odd position and are extremely uncomfortable....

Don't know about the ac because main ac gari mein zada use nai karta. Meray pass Santro thi before i put my hands on Vitz, durable, reliable car. Spares expensive thay thoray say par ek dafa jab part dalta tha tu next 1.5 yrs tak masla nahi aata tha. Agar economy mode mein gari chalo tu bohat achi average deti hai. Mujhe personally us gari nay kbi taang nahi kiya par maine us ko kaafi taang kiya tha. The most bad thing i did was k main June ki ek Subah gari ko Islamabad lay gya tha, after midway us ka ac baad kar parha as it was overheating, city mein gari thek chali with ac on Motorway wahpasi pe bhi wohi howa aur phr 3 months later maine us ka kaam karwahya aur woh sirf itna tha k radiator say aanay wala ek pipe kharab ho gya tha Expense was Rs 650. aur maine woh travel sara ek din mein kiya tha.

How is the re sale of santro?
I am planning to go for a small car. I personally like santro but my dad is inclined towards an alto owing to the better re sale of it. What should I do?
Also, if I am ti go for santro, which model should be preferred? I have seen santros up for sale usually have high mileages... would that pose a problem if I am to keep the car for at least 2 years?

and santro needs suspension work more often than suzuki, but suzuki needs cv joints. santro's suspension costs more than 4 cv joints of suzuki.

if 100 alto for sale in market n 50 sold n 50 santro n 30 sold, then santro have better resale, santro manufacturing stop in 2009 n alto 's stop in 2012, if you have any confusion make a forum 'alto vs santro' you ll find the answer, santro is 10 time better then alto in all aspects n better resale as compare to alto.

Well for me as i am a heavy footer driver in the traffic of Lahore it gave me 14-15 km/litre on petrol wid ac off. with CNG the ratio was almost same.

It has a button on the dashboard - Sports, 4x4 and Economy mode.

Naah, just kidding. He meant urrm, Driving it slowly, under 2500 RPM to get maximum fuel efficiency!
Basically, driving with a light foot.

The best result i got from it were
16 km/litre on petrol (with light foot and without ac)
22 km/kg on CNG (with light foot and without ac)

Bro I agree that santro is 100 times better than any 1000 cc pkdm car in its category. But since there are fewer cars and those up for sale are usually high mileage cars, it poses a problem for the potential buyer

I kept santro GX fpr fpur years, 2001 model, i also aoned 2004 Alto, both were in outstanding condition...but if u compare, i will straightaway say, Santro has no match, very reliable, far better interior n exterior then Alto, far better driving pleasure and very less maintenance required, i kept that for four years and she never gave any prob, i never changed even a single suspension part, just changed timming belt and brake pads, this all i remember, where as i kept alto for around 6 months, i ll admit that its AC is outstanding, just like bigger cars, far better then Cultus, rest it has a guzara laiq car...no fun to drive.just like other suzukis...
But my piece of advice is that if one wana go for Santro, please go for GV variant...because in aftet after market CNG , some time it bugs you
..
