Last month while flying out of Pakistan to my country of work, I was asked at Karachi airport's airline desk and immigration re-checker "where is your protector?". I told them that in my understanding protector is only required for the first time you travel to work and I never traveled to this job location from Pakistan. He told me that "I see that your employer has changed", I asked him where he sees a change of employer as I employed with the same employer for several years and I have travelled to Pakistan several times while having the same visa. He checked thoroughly and gave me my passport. I truly feel that this could happen again and I can't afford to miss my work and have to be back at work as per schedule. What do I need to do to avoid this happening again? I am filer and NRP with NICOP.
PS one of my friends was off-boarded some time ago.
