these cars are really low quality manufactured and trust me the producers dont care about the so called customer satisfaction in this case... before you all star biting me go and google up some reviews about this car made by people who curruntly own the new models ...

Well then if these cars are of soooooo low quality then why in the world is Proton giving 3 years/60,000 kms warranty. And that also in Pakistani conditions.

BTW this warranty is more than what any other car manufacturer and importer is giving in Pakistan.

Great cars with great prices. Will give some tough time to Cultus, Liana, City and Xli.

Now it will depend upon the people how they will take it. If we still stick to our sick mentality of spare parts and resale, then nothing will change in the near future and we will keep stating about the pathatic quality of Corolla, Honda and Suzuki.

By the way, my uncle had a proton car in Malaysia and he was pretty much satisfied with it.

not that bad.. fine according to their prices.. but quality seem as if of PakSuzuki.. cheap cars wid avg looks n quality!

Anyway.. these car are being assembled in Pakistan or being imported? Which country does this brand belong to? n where is it being imported from?

anoymous brand came here in PAKISTAN to run ,, but as compare to JAPNEES wid malaysian, i wud really hv a japan aseembld car rather than buying a idiotic looking shaped cars.. mujhe pata hai ke koi na koi to zaror chaley ga ise q k esi koi car nahi hai Pakitan mein jo logo ke pass nahi ho, i mean jo import hokar ati hai ,woh zarur chalti hai ,in Pak roads,, even see bot d china one :cherry QQ" still far better than others in luxury mini carz ,but wht happen ,"no RESALE" .. may be its matiance & parts wont avilble tommorow... so wht ppl will doo ,,,

i think people have been offered a comiosn from toyota, honda and suzuki that if they ditch their car.. theywould be given a free service to their cars..

these protons are value for money in their respective categories... build quality is better than that of pakistan... the cars are really strong.... the packages are nice...

its either tried and tested mitsubishi technology...or Lotus engineering... so nuthng to complian about...

but as pakistanis.. we are bound to complain about anything good offered to us...

people are talking about resale of a car which has just spend 48 hours on pakistani land... makes me laugh bg time...so much brain washed...wow unbeleivable....

if we pakistani's are not happy to see these cars arrive.. then we deserve to ride horse carts... that must make us happy...whynot put a suzuki or a toyota logo on that horse cart as well...

anyone who watch fifth gear or top gear regularly will know what level of undue favoritism they do for british cars. proton buying lotus pill is still hard for the brits to swallow. i rate that review as extremely biased.
my own experience with a saga was plain amazing in singapore.

also i can paste link of 100s of reviews from all over the world stating spectrd 2000 model as good. reality here?

and the wise guy who bought the first suzuki or toyota knew that it will have super normal resale?

Great cars and great prices. I wish I had not bought Lancer and I would have got Wira with better specifications and CNG and costing one hundred thousand less. I think these cars will be a big success in Pakistan.

Great cars.. i have a drive experience of both models of Proton Saga and Wira when i was in Malaysia few years ago.. basically its a Mitsubishi.. just like Maruti in India which is basically Suzuki.. manufacturer of brand proton is HiCom Malaysia.. Mahateer Mohammad former PM of Malaysia has more than 60% of its shares. I had also visited their plant in SUBANG JAYA Malaysia. The quality control department is very strict that's why workmanship is much better than our locally manufactured cars.. i think soon they will make a good market for their cars.. the prices are also reasonable specially CNG one

i personally believe that price of Kia Classic price was best in that 1300cc segement, still it wasnt able to make it through.

Protons need to revise their prices a bit coz they are new entrants. also need to establish themselves like as if they r gonna stay here for long, i.e. ensure timely supply of parts and spares.

no wonder ppl'd turn towards them once they earn some repute here in pak.
