i was told that if you book today you will get in june.
Fuel lid on Right side.
Is it available on own tho? And how can we get the black variant with the liveries?Im a bit interested in getting black sports variant.
I checked online for prices in Malaysia, SAGA is almost more than half the price of City
But that new generation city may cost 30 lakh+ in Pakistan if and when launched here.
That's a different City
Fantastic price. I had not been considering Proton Saga. but after the price reveal and low tax / registration, even I am considering to get its middle trim option for auto-tranny after selling my Alto VXR.
Will wait for a couple of months to get real-world feedback and consumption numbers.
That's quite poor TBH. EPS is now a standard in all the cars.
Won't be as smooth and light as an EPS. Plus hydraulic issues.
Has a timing belt, not a chain.Hydraulic steering and timing belt making me a little nervous.
Warranty:
They claim 5 years/150,000 kmBUTEngine is excluded - it's covered for 3 yrs/100,000 km.
Still not that bad.
Boss can you list down your preferences in a given vehicle along with it's price tag? Will try to send it to all auto manufactures to see if anyone can fulfill our Majesty's wish
That will be cool!
I'll PM you
The positives for Proton are:-Safety-Price-Bigger and better than Cultus/Picanto.
What about Toyota Fortuner ? have a look bro HPS feels more responsive while driving however maintenance cost will be there. EPS and HPS have the same difference as electronic and mechanical keyboard for gamers
How big drawbacks are these?I know hydraulic power steering means there is another fluid in the car i.e. power steering oil. One more thing to keep topped up.
Just came back from Proton's showroom in Islamabad. I must say the car looks much better in person. At this point I think it is a great option. According to the staff there, they have booked 130 cars till now out of which 110 are ACE. Bookings are open, delivery time for ACE is October/November whereas for Base it's July
Same here. Just came back.
The car is not bad at all if you compare with Cultus and picanto. You will really need to have a small porch to buy a cultus or picanto now over Saga.
Only thing thats bothering me. The after sales service.......lets hope they dont screw it up.
why hydraulic steering though ?
While the 3rd gen was launched by Proton in 2016, it is HEAVILY based on the previous generation (from 2008) and shares a lot of internal components. That is probably why it not only looks like an old car but also uses old technology.
