@minexwe all spotted this car in jinnah when HB was here last time. it's a good car overall and handles very well.
pretty darn slow for a car with a 1.8 litre dohc engine making 135 bhp. weighs 1100 kg's and has a lotus engineered suspension that corners well etc..
Looks nice. Based on Mitsubishi Colt I guess.

This is what its based on..Mitsubishi Mirage..In the early days..mitsubishi helped Proton in the design..waghaira waghaira..so thats why the platform is the same..locals here swap mitsubishi and mivec engines in these proton rides...
I tell you..What i noticed on my trip was that every third car in Malaysia was a Tuned Satria GTi!...
Some of them had even put Mitsubishi badges on them!...They're really sleek, and the exhaust note is remarkable!

yeah ur right @gemguy...i see em every day..infact one of my friend has a Satria R3...its the fastest variation of all the Satria's...im not sure of the figures..but man its fast..
Just another thought. Why was it not launched in Pakistan? It would have been better than Saga and smaller cars sell.

Thats specs are pretty impressive. Where does the Satria come price wise? Is it cheaper than the Gen 2?
One reason can be dat GT cars are never produced in Pakistan

@helliceo...dude...first of all..those cars are way way better then the junk that is sold by local manufacturers in Pakistan ..such as Suzuki etc....Secondly..hatch backs have their own style..outlook...Even bmw has hatchbacks dude...ppl who like em will buy em..i hope u get the point...
