X50 sits below X70 in Proton lineup. Technically it carries mechanicals with X70. X50 just launched in Malaysia and there is a possibility of X50 as CKD for PK market . As of now there is no timeline but we can expect it in upcoming year/s.

Instead of wasting time with Saga, they should have gone straight for this after the X70 and the persona after that.

Well the Proton X50 has same 1.5T as in X70.
Is it another rebadged Chinese car? Looks pretty good... By the time it will come, X70 will be a year old and may e give a hint about reliability.
