I wish it was that easy to claim... there are too many fine prints when it comes to claims.
Like in layman language, there are three parts interconnected or works in conjunction with each other..
A --- B --- C.
C stopped working because of the issue with B. In some cases the warranty covers the A but not the B and subsequently the C. In some cases covers A and B and not the C.
BTW, the near billion $ class action lawsuit could be less than half if KIA and Hyundai entertained warranties and claims which were genuine , related to engine issues.. they kept on declining it until things went out of control..
