In all honesty this is probably the best cross-over in town.
Yes Geely owns volvo and has a stake in Proton too. Proton picked up their cross-over, changed it to right hand drive and tested it thoroughly with full support from Geely.
Geely put Volvo in charge of developing the engine, tranny and chassis for its own use and later adoption into other models in other regions where Geely operates. This engine is the same as a Volvo Drive - E 1.5 liter. The tranny can also accommodate an electric motor for a hybrid setup and the area under the transmission selector on the center console is where the battery would go.
So you get European (Swedish) engineering and R&D and then bring it to China for mass production and use. Apparently this engine has received an engine of the year award in China from their most reputed authority on transport related stuff.
So feature-wise, engineering-wise, price-wise and technology-wise, this vehicle is tops in Pakistan, in my humble opinion.
