This is strange....At the dealership in Islamabad, bookings are closed and they are saying bookings shall reopen some time in February and the delivery will be in November.

I don't get how one is able to book the vehicle from one dealership and not the other one?
And secondly, how come there is such a big difference in the delivery time (July vs November)?

I think something to do with quota system

This is due to quota system. Islamabad dealership is overbooked. That's why they closed the bookings.

Booked X70 today with august delivery from momentum motors. They were saying production will start in January.

It was initially rumoured to be in 2022 than with x70 fiasco it seems impossible till 2023...

I spoke to one of the Proton dealer owner and he said X50 has be push ahead for further delay due to assembling of X70 has not started yet, X70 CKD delivery is in March/April. X50 might be coming end of 2022 or 2023.
