PSO CARIENT Engine Oil,

Hello,
This Topic I wish to start is more a patriotic thing than a car discuession, being pakistani I wish to buy Locally made and pakistani companies products, so I wish to try PSO Carient being a Pakistani company product, but in car engine oils in pakistan everyone uses and recommend imported oil like zic, havoline, liquimoly,Mobil etc and generally our public dont preffer PSO Carient oil I havent seen any pakwheel forum where anyone recomending PSO Carient oil, is it lack of their marketing or is it quality of the product, and My guess is that this oil is as good as anyother imported oil but only thing lacking is PSO marketing so should we not promote this pakistani brand? Any user experience

Never used it! and now i dont want to risk my engine. although if it is of good quality there is no bad in using this oil.

Carient series is very good. if found 100% genuine, then go ahead.

Currently using in gli 2016 from Jan 2016. no issue at all, offering me 14+ km/l i city (isb) with AC and engine noise is as good as zero meter ..... 37k done so far .....

I have been using PSO products exclusively for more than 5 years now.

Never had any issues.

All other local companies such as Shell and Total get their oils blended by PSO!

PSO Carient oils will never fail even if you overrun the oil change interval. Trust me when I tell you i got my oil changed at 9500 km instead of 5000 once!

That to me is of significant importance since it indicates good composition of the oil and the additives are of good quality. Some oils may start breaking up and burning.after some miles.

My mother in law's GLI AUTO 2016 is also on PSO because the genuine toyota oil was burning up before the 5k oil change interval. Also the engine's timing chain is not making any noise at startup.

MaShaaALLAH I really really appreciate your patriotic nature and decision. The discussion you started helped me alot brothers who shared their experiences with PSO Carient also helped me as I was already thinking to shift to our Pakistani company. From now onwards InShaaALLAH I'll use only PSO's products in all of my family's cars. Let me tell you one thing more that PSO also importes the ingredients of oils; only blending is done here in Pakistan. Read this fact somewhere here on forum

People in Pakistan have no issues in using various cheap oils. Even they have local made names. Like guard oil and many more.
This one is still better than those oils.
