Pso carient oil 20w-50?

so i had to get any oil of pso for some scheme,there were two carient ones,one synthetic other simple n third one was just cng plus
since i never used synthetic so got the simple one

i have civic 04
i have been using havoline formula,i think thats 10w-30

so should i use this oil in my civic,is it any good or will run few km good instead of 5000km
or i should just use it in some other car

also if some one wanna buy,will give it for less than market price

its good for old cars which reduce oil/weak engine etc
and good for max 3000kms

i just bought 20w 50 for my corolla :S else i would have bought from u

we have this oil at our shop. but interesting point is, that we have only two bottles which still looks absolutely new because we do regular dusting on them "because" no body likes to buy this oil.

I have been using the PSO-Ultra in my Vitz for past 1 year. No complaints fully satisfied as I dont have to worry about its origin.
At least its not recycled

lol. I just mentioned him based on some oil related threads on PW. When it comes to engine oils, I seldom see anyone going for PSO.

Now read the manuals of your car to find out the recommended oil. But I guess, 20w-50 is far too difficult for your engine to digest!!!

for civic 2004 model, its pretty simple.

For best fuel economy, use 5/30 with ci as 5K.
For longer ci, use 5/40 and change it after 8~10K. but change the both filters after 4~5K for better performance.

Good oil companies can be LM, PTT, Kixx, ProfiCar, ZIC.

10W, 15W & 20w oil doesn't give good fuel economy in gasoline engines.
But if still want to use 10w oil, then better choose LM MOS2, 10/40.

Or you can also use LM Molygen 5/50. Its fully synthetic and ci can be upto 8~10k for you car. But change the filters in midway.

Definitely it will work for 4,000 km.

BTW its not a good habit to change oils, brands and viscosities. Especially if you have an ES Civic. More specially if you are in Pakistan.

in case if i do use this or ultra one,do i need to flush engine oil first or engine oil can b changed as normally all of it is sucked out by machine,it will be due soon after 1000km

plus the oil sucking thing in shell is very efficient. dad challenged the guy once. and he after taking out oil from the machine, opened up the drain nut and not a single oil drop came out

since sticker is expired,will go for 1 more month as lines are still quite big but this time thinking to go for this blue box 10w-40
what do u say, red is fine or not? else will go for blue one for this car n use red one in other car
