i am using 1mb student package and was happy from ptcl cause i didnt got any problems since i was using this package but from the last three weeks ptcl made me sick. i told them to upgrade my package from 1mb to 4mb, i have called them so many times and even went to ptcl office but im still getting damn 1mb speed at my home, and they are telling me that ur package has been upgraded lol
now when i call them and tell them my problem there response is "Jee ap ka net 4mb hogya hai and ur problem will be resolved within 24hrs" but waiting for those 24 hrs 3 weeks have passed

i thought they havent upgraded mine
as i was getting 83kb/s on download on laptop wireless but then i tried usb dongle n my download speed increased to 200+,n when i downloaded IDM,direct download speed on laptop wireless increased to 470+
now finally getting true 4mb speed

but now am wuite hesitant to upgrade to 4mb package as now my 1 mb package gives me no more that 50KB/sec so i wonder if i upgrade they wont be giving me true 4mb speed

Just for the sake of General Information as many of you must have known by now that PTCL DSL is not Totally Unlimited now and a so called Fair Usage Policy has been applied and the fun part is that they are also goin to Rob U when ur so called Download Limit is over

Thats a good thing then. Although 1 Mbps package is cheapest, yet they still have unlimited downloads.
