The other day I saw somewhere ptcl modem given backup power by laptop battery. Can anybody tell me how does it work.? Modem is 12v and laptop is 19v then how did that guy connect it. The setup gave more than 2 hours backup. It was charging from another adaptor. I took some pictures secretly but didn't understand. Can somebody make me understand. He even said that no need for new battery, even a near to death battery would work.
