Pulsar 220cc

Dear friends,

I dont know its a correct forum.or not but m.having little bro in my motorbike I am in srilanka.

Its Bajaj Pulsar 220cc DTSi

Its only self start it has no kick.

Sometimes when I press start switch only I can only click click sound from the starting relay but self motor does not rotates .

Than I put the bike in 2nd gear and clutch daba k thora saa chala k clutch choorta hun to thora saa engine starting type sound aati hai and after that I press start switch bike self start hoo jati hai..

If any brother can help out in this strange problem.

There is a pin bearing in self , may be its worn .

I think it has safety switch that disconnect power to starting motor while side stand is still down and you put engine into gear. This switch sometimes kicks in even after stand is up, you need to find n resolve the problem that safety switch is having.
