Punctured tyre

aoa pw members ,

can u guide , what should be important when dealing with the puncture wala for repair of radial tyres ...there are two types of repair one with wire and other from inside ..which one is better and when should u do if your tyre pressure still decreases after puncture repair ?

Brother the preferred way is from the inside but the problem is that in Pakistan hardly people now how to do it properly.

Correct khm42747, Proper way is the puncture from inside called "paka penchar", the other one which uses solid rubber rod breaks the steel net of your tire causing unbalancing in tire and shorter life.

Brother this is the main problem no body wants to work hard they all are happy when u r paying them for using wrong methods.

i have serious objections on ur extended answer (in the bold format).
if you have seen a better method being used in some other country then plz share it here.
wese i hav seen almost every pakistani puncture wala doing it properly.

most of time it's just a matter of fact that you dont have much time to get it from inside.

Haha. Correct. Its no rocket science. The biggest problem is not time. Its electricity. I once waited one hour for electricity so that I could get the tyres fixed properly.

Brother its has to be done very carefully because if rubber is trimmed to much or if its heated more than it needs then it will make the tyre more vulnerable then before.
If u are in abroad they will take ur tyre and will ask u to come after some time or if u are in emergency or on road trip then they have one method which is temporary they pour a solution on the punture and have some sticker type thing on it but that's temporary.

I agree with khm42747 that the correct way is to apply the puncture from inside by heat method. But most guys don't do it properly. Few months ago, a puncture guy ruined my car's new tyre by not applying the heat to the exact area. The heated part touched the sidewall and a bubble appeared there.

Another guy advised me to put tube in that tyre but that also failed because a few punctures were also applied to that tyre by outside method and the wire mesh was torn from those areas. As a result, those broken wires punctured the tube.

i believe the temporary solution damages the Tyre permanently....

PAKKA Puncture repair does the better job....but u have to find an experienced guy who know how much heat to be applied to avoid changes in chemical composition/structure of tyre...

you also need to be vigilant and tell the repair guy not to apply to much heat depending upon softness and hardness of tyre....always stay nearby to sense if there is some odd burning smell.....

when i was used to DUNLOPS which were harder....i used a temporary solution which is available in form of solution aerosol to be pumped into punctured tyre from air filling valce at automobile part retailers...i guess i also have a thread on Pakwheels on that...i must admit it worked good and gave a new lease on life to the effected tyre...

I always ask to repair from inside if they refuse I ask to put back tyre

Most of them are dishonest. They always try to increase bill by saying:
Nalki kamzor ha
Hole bara ha, special Puncture lagay ga
Tyre kamzor ha, tube rakh du
2 punctures thay

not sometime bhai.... once all the wires came out (visible) while grinding. i was like WT FISH man.... stop grinding ... bc tyre new banana hay kya ?
