I registered my Car on 1st Jan 2019 and another on 10 Jan 2019 . Smart Registration Card was delivered a week back .But I haven't Received original Number Plates yet.

Local Excise Office is saying 2019 number plates are not being printed by Government so its the reason of delay .

Is anyone else having this issue ?
I plan to go to ISB next week from Lahore , Will it be ok If I travel without Original Number Plates ?
What do ?

Yes you can travel without original no plates as long as you have Registration No visible on the car and a proof that you haven't received your plates yet which can be provided to the concerned authority by showing the date of the registration from the receipt they issued to you at the time of Registration. and for the printing issue Its a lie that 2019 plates are not printed yet, my uncle got his Move registered on 12 Feb and yesterday got his Registration Card along with Number Plates. Just register a complaint on Citizen Portal App.

Update : Launched a complained and email excise office .
I within a day got a call from local excise office that my car number plates arrived and I just received them.Moreover,they excused and asked me reply back that I received plates

Hi,

I got my wagon R registered on May 29 but have not received plates or registration card. Anyone else facing the issue.

Car is leased through bank and bank is saying they have not gotten anything from the excise and taxation department. Just want to understand if the issue is with the bank not doing their work or excise not doing their work.

Same issue, I got my new car registered on June 15, 2019 and nothing is received so far. The agent told me that the issue is with excise department. No registration card or number plates are being issued for last three months

I am too the victim of tabdeeli.

Registered my vehicle on May 31, 2019 and today on August 18 I still haven't received my registration card, original file and number plates.

Let's join our hands together and raise this issue so that authorities could resolve the issue.

I registered my new bike on 31-May-2019 from Gujranwala however I have not received anything (smart card/bike papers) etc. It is strange that on MTMIS website, delivered is written in status however I haven't received anything

Can everyone please raise a complaint on the citizen portal and give them negative feedback once they resolve the issue saying department ka masla hai

I registered mine on same day in lahore and till today I have received nothing.

Went to Excise office on 18th of August for inquiry and they said your card and number plates has not been made yet. Wait probably another month.

I m also waiting, patanahi keb tak bike ko home par idle rakhna paray ga, road par le kar jao to traffic wardens issue before getting card/plates ....

No issue. Wardens know what excise department is doing. Just get number plates made from outside and keep payment receipt in your wallet.

Pretty much normal these days. Wait several months before you would get plates and registration.

okay, I'll try to take bike on road after 10 Muharram, I live in a government housing colony outside city therefore to go to city I have to cover 20KM of GT road (N5) where I have to cross one Motorway police mobile and then the city wardens area starts. Is it also Okay for motorway police?

It's okay. They won't bother stopping you for not using original number plates.

Mine too shows Delivered but nothing is delivered yet. Didn't even receive registration card, documents or number plates. I will visit excise office monday morning to inquire about number plates. Since card and docs will be delivered at door step via courier so I am not much worried about them.

I got Lahore number car transferred in my name from Rawalpindi excise a month back. Till now havnt recieved anything or any info.

One of my colleague got his car transferred in his name before start of Ramzan and no info till yet.
